She tweeted that she missed her quick change for "23," which, BTW, consists of matching red-and-black underwear and chaps , so she ran out to perform in just the underwear and Jordans . I don't know how long it takes to get chaps on (sue me), but it's probably not that long? Whatever, the show must go on and it did. We expected a lot of Bangerz Tour looks from Miley and, as usual, she's delivering. What's next?
The party may set aside a major portion of seats in western UP and adjoining areas for allies. AICC general secretary Madhusudan Mistry made the announcement late on Monday, saying Congress may leave three seats for Mahan Dal while it may also give some to Apna Dal. The bid to stitch a rainbow alliance in UP comes in the wake of reports that the party faces a tough election in the state where it performed beyond its organizational strength to win 21 seats in 2009. While a tie-up with RLD was in the offing, the announcement of possible alliance with Mahan Dal and Apna Dal, minor caste-based outfits, seems a result of reports that they were also negotiating with BJP. Congress seems to be offering much more than BJP was willing to part with. As per the alliance deal, RLD will contest Fatehpur Sikri, Kairana, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Hathras, Bijnore and Amroha.
Funny outfits pose a 'serious' challenge
The federal government has no proposal under consideration regarding setting up of offices by banned organisations. We have also not received any formal request in this regard, Minister of State for Interior Baleeghur Rehman told the House in response to a Calling Attention Notice. The notice was moved to the House by the ANP senators who had expressed strong reservations over the statement of a PTI provincial minister in the KPK government. The members had contested that the banned outfits could not be allowed to sett up regular offices like political parties when they do not recognise the countrys Constitution and writ of the State. Furthermore, they had stated that many among them were killers and proclaimed offenders and carry head money on them. The minister, in response, said that statements attributed to Imran Khan and the provincial minister are media reports while the government has not received anything formally from Imran Khan or the provincial government. There is clarity in the stance and stand of the federal government and there is no such proposal under consideration, he added.
No proposal to set up offices of banned outfits, Senate told
They gear up for every approaching election, and once the dates are announced they start the dance of poll gimmickry. From Azamgarh in east UP to Gautam Budh Nagar in west, these groups nurture the notion that they are the best. Elections come and go, but they continue to flourish. Lakhimpur-based Khaas Aadmi Party (KhAP) has invited all corrupt persons and fraudsters to join it. The development is significant as most of the political parties (serious ones literally) are trying their best to project a clean and honest image. Naresh Singh Bhadauriya, a senior functionary of KhAP, told TOI: "So far we have been able to enlist 15-20 dedicated supporters, who would be spreading the party's agenda and message among voters. We have visited the offices of BJP, SP, BSP and other parties in Lakhimpur and have categorically told them to send corrupt elements and fraudsters to us." Naresh himself will contest from Lakhimpur and Amethi, and promises to give a stiff challenge to the most corrupt in the fray.
